What you'll find...
This website started with a simple vision: to help youth & their caregivers find resources in and around Knox County. (More and more counties are being researched to be added soon! Send me a request for your county!) This website and facebook group were created to help connect all families and all people with the many resources offered by organizations, programs, nonprofits, individuals, and businesses in our area.
Hey y'all!
"Pay no attention to the woman behind the curtain!"
My name's Bekkah, and I am the face behind this website. Over the past three years of working 'in the trenches' of mental health services, I have found that one of the biggest barriers to treatment and continued success in recovery is simply not knowing what help is out there. It is so easy to feel alone or overwhelmed when faced with life's struggles. Let's be honest, we just don't have time to find these valuable resources that can make such a big difference in our lives. I do a deep dive into our community. I regularly meet with offices, nonprofits, and businesses and scour the internet, forums, and websites for the most relevant information to provide for you. I would love to feature your resources too! Let's work together and make our community a kinder place. Be sure to check out our facebook group for daily updates!
